As the days get shorter, colder, and wetter and people start to stay indoors more often, we here at Four Seasons Nursery are hard at work preparing for spring of 2022.
Gabby has been working diligently at taking down summer displays and putting together some beautiful fall displays with our huge selection of evergreen shrubs. She is also taking special care of our amazing indoor plants.
Nick has just finished taking down all the shade cloth we use to protect us from the sun in the summer. And has been getting ready to put plastic back up on our greenhouses. We are still getting in plant material that Cessy has been making room for, tagging, and putting away. She has also been working hard at cleaning up, weeding beds, and our tree lines.
Speaking of our tree line, Dave, Nick, and Brandon will be tearing down and putting up a brand-new tree line for next year. The tree line we have now has been broken for quite some time, so we are very excited to be updating this.
As for me (Lisa) I’m putting together an information desk where you will be able to bring in your soil for testing. Any plant material that may be diseased or have insects (always bring your plant material in a sealed plastic baggie) we will be able to identify for you. We will also be able to do small plantings at this desk for customers. I will be doing a lot of rearranging in the store this week getting ready for some new and exciting additions.
